About the creation of Caysorn by co-owner Chalio
Before moving to Australia in 1973 I was working in some of the top restaurants around
Caysorn Plaza, Rajaprasong in Bangkok for ten years. When I arrived in Sydney I gained
valuable experience working in well known iconic hotels and restaurants such as the Sydney
Hilton, the Summit Restaurant and Noah's Lakeside in Canberra In the early Eighties
I opened one of the first Thai Restaurant in Sydney.
After winning a small business award in 1990 I always had in mind to open a restaurant with
food from my home province Phatthalung in Southern Thailand where the food is very spicy
more than other region. Now that ingredients for Thai cooking are much more available,
myself and my two co-owners Phanthip & Nongnapat (two sister) who gained hands on
experience working in their family restaurant for 20 years in Phatthalung have joined with me
to bring Caysorn to reality.
